Sal has a sliding scale and does not accept insurance. Initial treatment is 1 ½ to two hours and subsequent treatments 45-60 minutes. Fees for initial treatment range from $110 to $150 and typically , with subsequent treatments at $45-75. He does make allowance for persons unemployed or on a case by case basis. No one will be turned away due to finances. 

First Treatment

The initial appointment consists of a review of your comprehensive health history. The health history (filled out in advance of the session) includes questions about why you are seeking treatment, your diet, sleep pattern, supplements and exercise. After addressing any questions you may have about Traditional Chinese Medicine, I will conduct an interview that takes into account your health history in order to develop a treatment plan.  Once the interview is completed, I perform several tests as part of the initial acupuncture treatment.  The first test is to determine the presence of aggressive energy: energy that can enter organs if there is prolonged stress, sudden shock, trauma or injury.  This test takes about thirty minutes.  Once aggressive energy if found is cleared, another test is used to see if there is an energetic imbalance in the body’s meridians.

In addition to acupuncture, other services include

• Shiatsu (limited)
• Auricular
• Cupping

Each of these therapies is included in a treatment and used when clinically necessary.
